The world is aghast at the battering that the Palestinians are taking at the hands of Israeli Zionism. Palestinian losses and destruction are unfathomable. Over a 100,000 Palestinians have been killed or maimed with Israeli bombs within six months.

Whole families have been wiped out and to see a lone child’s deep anguish saying, “my father, my mother and all my siblings are martyred! Why didn’t God martyr me?” Often, one member of the family is saved to go through the trauma of life only to pray that they too can join the rest of the family as a martyr.

While the majority of non-Palestinians feel overwhelming anger towards the Zionist Israelis, the majority of the Palestinians display an alarming calmness in the face of unimaginable atrocities taking everything in their stride.

The dead have escaped the punishment that life offers, it is the living, the wounded, the hungry, the thirsty, the homeless who suffer the most.

Those who feel this extreme suffering, this injustice against these oppressed people who have borne Israeli brutality for too long, take action. This action is taken in various forms such as protests, letters, hunger strikes as in the case of students at some Universities, letters to leaders, media exposure and in the extreme cases of self immolation as in the case of Aaron Bushnell and another unnamed person.

The Zionists call the Palestinians “Amalek” and take so much pleasure in killing the so-called “Non-Humans” and “Animals” as is displayed in the video below:

But what makes the Palestinians go about this most traumatic life without the most basic necessities for existence with such calmness?

The majority of the Palestinians are Muslim and they have co-existed with their Christian brethren in peace and harmony.

Some very powerful verses in the Qur’an that reverberate in the souls of the Palestinians in particular are:

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 153:

O ye who believe! seek help with patient perseverance and prayer; for Allah is with those who patiently persevere. (English Translation– Yusuf Ali)

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 154:

And say not of those who are slain in the way of Allah: “They are dead.” Nay, they are living, though ye perceive (it) not. (English Translation– Yusuf Ali)

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 155:

Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. (English Translation – Yusuf Ali)

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 156:

Who say, when afflicted with calamity: “To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return”:-(English Translation – Yusuf Ali)

Surah Al-Baqara, Verse 157:

They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance. (English Translation – Yusuf Ali) via iQuran

The above verses are deeply embedded in every cell of the Palestinians who struggle for their freedom and existence while alive and embrace death most happily when it eventually overtakes them.

Believers recount a great many miracles occurring in Gaza during this Genocide of these oppressed people at the hands of an unjust, illegal and brutal occupier – Israel.

See the first picture above. This is a picture of the hand of a Palestinian martyr under the rubble in Gaza, holding a date fruit that death did not give him time to eat before his martyrdom. The seed of the date fruit sprouted between his two fingers and became strikingly long leaves.

The miracle in this picture is that the germination process is an indication of the length of time his body remained under the rubble (probably at least three months or more). While the hand with its fingers and its nodes is complete with its flesh, tissues, nails and its structural connection to the wrist. Even its colour, and its lack of decomposition indicates that it is as if the person had recently died not more than a few hours ago, but the germination of the date seed indicates that his death is ancient. This is one of the signs of God that this corpse is the corpse of a martyr.

The above Qur’anic verse 154 of Surah Baqara states that the martyr is not dead. That they are living! This is further explained in the Hadith (narrations from the Prophet’s sayings) that the bodies of the martyrs are not subject to rot and decomposition.

What is this tranquility that the Palestinians feel in Gaza that they do not feel even in Mecca or Madina? Please watch the above video till the end.

Mansour Shouman in the above video recounts what he saw when he went to look for a 19 year old youth who had gone to get some food the previous day, but had not returned.

This young man had a lot of cuts & bruises on his face and was accused to be a trouble maker whenever an incident occurred. Mansour found his body killed by an Israeli sniper on the street with his face turned towards the sky. His face did not have any marks from the cuts and bruises that he had and he was protected by a white peacock that spread its wings and shielded him! After removing the body and wrapping him for burial the bird walked away.

When the people were asked if Gaza had white peacocks, they said that they do not have any peacocks in Gaza, leave alone a white one!

These are just a few miracles witnessed by the patient people of Palestine.

The pro-Palestinian protests in the universities in the U.S are going ahead despite all the intimidation, provoking and harassment by the pro-Israeli lobby. While the students at the protests come from all faiths including Jews, Christians, Hindus, Muslims and others including atheists, there is certainly an element of faith that prevents these students from reacting to the wild abuse and harassment of the Zionist lobby.

These peaceful protests also stem from the patience of the Palestinians in the face of the terrifying brutality inflicted upon them by the Israelis.

With regards to vengeance a verse from the Qur’an comes to mind:

“We ordained therein for them: “Life for life, eye for eye, nose or nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth, and wounds equal for equal. But if any one remits the retaliation by way of charity, it is an act of atonement for himself. And if any fail to judge by (the light of) what Allah hath revealed, they are (No better than) wrong-doers.” — Surah Maeda: Verse 45 (Translation: Yusuf Ali)

Retaliation only to the extent of the injury/loss incurred is permitted, but when this permitted retaliation is forgiven, it is better for a believer as the reward will be greater than the loss incurred.

Biden labeled “Anti Semite” and the call from Israeli politicians for the use of “imprecise missiles” to level Rafah:

In an unprecedented move the U.S government’s ironclad grip to support Israel seems to have loosened a little with Biden withholding the delivery of precise bombs that have so far killed and maimed over 100,000 Palestinians and destroyed Gaza to an apocalyptic level.

This has drawn the ire of Netanyahu and his cabinet some of whom have even labelled Biden as an anti-Semite and proposing the use of their imprecise bombs to level Rafah. See the two minute video below:

The Qu’ran mentions the trials and tribulations of Prophet Moses extensively. It also contains numerous verses about the Jews and Christians.

I will conclude this essay with this verse:

Those who believe (in the Qur’an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah (God) and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. (Surah Baqarah: Verse 62)
